The Third Dimension of Political Politics
Earlier today on Facebook my friend Colby Peterson posts a link to this video. In his link comment Colby asserts both Ron Paul and Arianna Huffington agree what we have today is not Capitalism. He calls this an “Epic left-right alliance moment.”
In the course of the discussion after the post, one of his friends requests clarification on which commentator is on the right and which is on the left. I reply with the following:
“In a binary political paradign (i.e. two sides) RP would be right and AH would be left.
In a two-dimensional system you’d see RP as being in the Libertarian range. IDK where AH would be. I know she seems cool to me – like a real thinker – but I don’t know much of her politics ‘cept that she leans “left” (which as you can see takes on additional meaning in different contexts).”
The same friend replies thanking me for my input and asks if there is a three-dimensional political paradigm. I reply:
“I’m not sure if anyone’s designed one yet, but I think the new age will see the rise of a 3d political paradigm. It’s how people deal with things – expand the thinking. It’s how all things in post-conception tend to evolve, be they biological or meta-physical: splitting cells, splitting cells, splitting cells…
Consider this:
“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” – Albert Einstein
Einstein is telling us that when we take two things that can no longer be resolved with the thinking we have available a new division/dimension must be created to step through to.
You get the idea.
