The Agnostic Shift.

Shifting Gears

I was no longer an atheist. Shortly after I saw WTBDWKA? I had an out of this world experience. Some might call it awakening. Others might call it being born again. Others might just call it a nervous breakdown. Whatever they call it, I’m going to call it the “agnostic shift™.” (And yes that’s right – there’s a trademark symbol next to that name. I’m still a capitalist.)

So I sit here, with my computer and Wikipedia.org and my books. I read about Christianity, paganism, witchcraft and Satanism. I read about math and science and make correlations between those and spiritual precepts and concepts across the globe. I compare Judaism and Scientology, physics and ascension magick. I run an obstacle course of information, sidestepping things that stop other people in their tracks to find the common thread. I do it for the love of knowledge and I do it to show you that there is no reason to kill each other over this stuff because it is all very much the same. Two sides of one coin – science and religion, logic and emotion, reason and mystery – as one of the creators of WTBDWKA? put it. Two polar opposites dealing with very different questions: How and Why?

I’d love to share some of what I come up with on here. In fact, I’m going to do that. And I’m not the only one doing this stuff. Each time I summon some arcane knowledge from the abyss, my ancestors or the matrix I seem to find that someone has a book out on it, or a YouTube video, or a song about it. So I’ll keep synthesizing the knowledge that I have access too – through both conventional and supernatural means – and bring it here.

I’d like some day to work with a scientist on some cutting edge meta-methodology to developing ourselves, create and introduce new interrogative words and see what kind of discoveries we can make together. That would be really nice.

So with that I leave you with a link to the Wikipedia entry on epigenetics – a new science that is at least by my assessment, on course to shake up the world of biology like quantum physics did to physics.
